Orissa Association Mysore (OAM, supported by philanthropists and patrons from different parts of the country and abroad renovated and restored a dilapidated ancient temple of 11th century in Belagola village- 2.5 km off Brindavan Gardens Road in Mandya District of Karnataka. The 1st stage work has been successfully completed.
Recently, frequent burglaries have raised apprehension about the safety and security of the temple, especially the deities (Sri Venkateswara, Sri Bhoga Narasimha with consorts Sri Devi & Bhu Devi). And this has necessitated completion of the boundary wall and construction of rooms for security staff, priest and outstation devotees.
As per the estimation, we need to spend around RS.25 lakhs to protect the temple and provide basic amenities to the devotees. For this, we need your kind cooperation and financial support.
The contributions may be made by way of monetary aid or through supply of building materials required for the work.
All monetary contributions may please be sent to the address stated below through a/c payee cheques or bank drafts, drawn in favour of Orissa Association Mysore – Temple Renovation & Maintenance Fund.
